Hello Scott Families, 

I am humbled and grateful to be lead the exceptional team of educators at Vera G. Scott Elementary School.  

I am a Colorado native and grew up in a large family in the San Luis Valley.  Early in my high school years, I determined that Colorado Springs was a great fit for me.  I was excited to move here after I finished college in Iowa.  I began my career leading outdoor education and youth programs at a youth camp near Woodland Park.  I then moved to Denver to attend Graduate School and entered public education as a Special Educator in Littleton. I next served in Jefferson County Public Schools as a Counselor and Assistant Principal in the North Denver area before returning home to Colorado Springs.  For seven years, I had the privilege of being part of the great team at Jenkins.  During this time, I truly enjoyed supporting students from Scott as they transitioned into the middle school years.  I am so happy to be able to remain a part of this community.
